About Us

    In 1975, the Detroit Chapter was formed. In 1999, it was renamed The Metropolitan Detroit Chapter to more accurately reflect and represent its membership. The chapter has grown steadily over the years, both in the number of members and in the services and programs offered. There are currently more than 80 members.

    The chapter holds educational meetings on many topics, such as financial management, human resource management, information technology, diversity, and other subjects relevant to effective legal management. The chapter also offers its members registration in an email listserv – a very popular member tool used when you need to find the answer to a question quickly or to find out how other firms in the Detroit area deal with a particular situation. The chapter provides business partner (vendor) contact and reference information to members to assist in due diligence or cost comparison research.

    The chapter is committed to giving back to the local community and it undertakes several projects each year to fulfill that commitment.

    Chapter leaders work diligently throughout the year to make membership in the Metropolitan Detroit Chapter a meaningful and valuable tool for all aspects of legal management.
